Nitaya Ueareeworakul was born in 1966 in Udon Thani and completed her Bachelor of Fine Art at Chulalongkorn University in 1991.  Her art often focuses on the minds and bodies of women. Nitaya has been active in projects involving female artists, such as Womanifesto, as well as other workshops and exchanges.  Nitaya has participated in several group shows in Thailand, as well as in France (1996), Australia (1997), Singapore (1998, 1999), Vietnam (1998), Korea (1998), India (2000), Austria (2000), and Japan (2000, 2001).
