Soeung Vannara was born in Cambodia and graduated with a B.A. from the School of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh in 1985 and a M.A. from Warzaw, Poland in 1995. He is currently a professor at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh. In additions to exhibitions in Cambodia, Soeung Vannara has also taken part in shows in Poland (1994, 1995), and in Malaysia (1999) - ASEAN Art Awards.
