Vichoke Mukdamanee

Vichoke Mukdamanee was born in 1953 in Songkhla and graduated from Silapakorn University with a Master of Fine Arts in1987.  He is currently a professor at the same institution and has participated in numerous exhibitions in Thailand and also in Japan (1979, 1980, 1986), Hong Kong (1990), USSR (1991), Australia (1992, 1997), Indonesia ( 1993), Philippines (1993), Malaysia (1994), South Africa (1995), Vietnam (1996), United Kingdom (1998), Cambodia (2000), USA (2000), Germany (2001), Netherlands (2001), and Korea (2001).  He has received several awards in Thailand and is well recognized for his variety of styles and use of materials.  He will take part in the aseanARToday exhibitions at Silom Galleria/Thavibu Gallery, Bangkok 4 - 28 June and at the National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 21 Oct - 24 Nov 2002.
