Thai Artists | Jitrin Thaothong
Jitrin (also called Supamas) Thaothong was born in 1976 in Ratchaburi and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Rajamangala Institute in 2002. Jitrin is a young painter aspiring to come to terms with herself through her art. She says: "I feel that life is to interact with and sense the environment. Sometimes I take the initiative, though at times I feel overwhelmed by my surroundings and life experiences." Her latest series features paintings of flowers, which may be viewed as the artist's way of expressing her inner emotions.
